Community Forum on Substance Abuse: Tobacco

The Benicia Unified School District, working with the Benicia Youth Action Coalition, is presenting a series of public forms on substance abuse. The sessions will be broadcast on Channel 28 for those who can't make it to the live meeting.

The format involves a panel of experts, students and community members discussing the different drugs, their effects, and the individual and community impacts. The goal of the meetings is to discourage drug use by presenting facts and warnings to youth in a respectful environment. The forums are open to the public. The schedule is as follows:

January 13: Marijuana
