Jazz and Classic Cars: Sunday Will Be about Hot Rods, Car Clubs and Cool Jazz Music

The 19th Annual Benicia Classic Car Show will take place Sunday at the Marina Green. Car buffs will find lots of beautifully restored classic cars and customized hot rods.

If food, jazz music, raffle prizes and appeal to you, come spend Sunday, April 29th at the waterfront in historic downtown Benicia.  Approximately 400 classics will be on display on the First Street Green located at the corner of First and B Streets.  From 9 a.m. until 3 p.m., the Benicia High School Panther band will be hosting its trademark event, where admission is free and all proceeds benefit the band.

There will be something for everyone to enjoy at this family-friendly event.  There will be ample waterfront views, food, music, fun and of course, classic cars.  Hourly raffle prize drawings will begin at 11 a.m. A fine selection of food vendors and car show related craft vendors will complete your day.

From 9-10 a.m., a student run band, Solar Prominence will perform for the crowd, followed by the Panther Jazz Band at 11 a.m.
