Panther Boys Cross Country Running for Fifth Title

Benicia High School boys Cross Country team is running through the competition.

Heading into the fourth meet of the 2011 season on Wednesday, October 5, the Panther boys varsity Cross Country team looks like they are running for a fifth consecutive .  

The current top five on the Varsity team are Junior , followed by Junior Adrian Coleman, Sophomore Nick Strohl, Junior Jackson McNutt, and Senior Trevor Theobald. 

At Benicia's home meet last week at Community Park (the third league meet), the Panther's easily won the meet with a low score of 28 points.  Rodriguez was second with a score of 60, Vanden was third with 70, Bethel fourth with 108, American Canyon fifth with 131 and in sixth place with 141 points was Vallejo.

Benicia travels to American Canyon Wednesday for their next league meet.  The first race begins at 3:30pm at American Canyon High School.
