School Board President has decided to run for re-election. In an email to Patch Stewart said, "I plan on going to pull papers Friday morning," referring to the paperwork he needs to pick up from the Solano County Registrar of Voters office in Fairfield.
Stewart was first elected to the board in 2007 and had been about a run for re-election. If both Stewart and board member who has already indicated she , turn in their by August 12, the filing period will close.

If either of the current incumbents changes their mind and doesn't turn in the nomination papers the filing period will be extended to August 17.
