Benicia High Baseball and Softball are in Postseason Play
The boys begin Friday night in Sacramento, the girls are in round two.
The Panther softball team broke the game against Bear River open in the top of the seventh, scoring 6 runs in support of pitcher Kira Knight's complete game victory.
The next game is Friday at 6 p.m. at the Sacramento Softball Complex against Whitney.
Meanwhile the Benicia varsity baseball team begins its postseason run Friday at 7 p.m. against Bear River on Field 2 at McAuliffe Memorial Ballparks in Sacramento.
