Bradbury and Bradbury is Looking for a Few Good Walls
Benicia based wallpaper company wants to hang some paper in a local parlor.
is launching a search for a Victorian room in which to install some wallpaper that will then be photographed. Here is what Bradbury & Bradbury is hoping to find:
- Benicia, Vallejo location best, but at least within Bay Area.
- 1870s -1890s Victorian home.
- Modest-sized parlor or bedroom, (no double parlors) with 10-12"ceilings.
- Original intact moldings and trim, natural finish preferred. No picture rail.
- Walls in good shape, prepped with latex primer.
- Period furniture in home, available to us, gets bonus points!
- Need flexible access to space.
- Installation in August, one-week duration.
“Have a parlor or bedroom in your home that you would love to hang our wallpaper in?,” asked Beverly Phillips, the Customer Service Manager at . “Here's your chance! We are looking for a lovely Victorian parlor in the Bay Area in which to hang and photograph our new Bruce Talbert room set this summer.”
“We don't need a perfect room but it should be ready for paper hanging,” said Phillips. “This great set of papers reproduced from the British Aesthetic Movement will make your parlor a real showpiece.

Homeowners who are interested but want a sneak peek at the new Bruce Talbert room set should go to the Cult of Beauty exhibit at the Legion of Honor in San Francisco where a wall of it has been installed.
