Sailor Jack's has Benicia's best water view of the Carquinez Strait. The property owners have taken over the restaurant and bar, upgrading the fish menu, making the space sustainable and keeping Steve, the bartender who has become a Benicia favorite. The new culinary staff has taken the food up a notch, emphasizing fresh, organic ingredients, and adding an interesting preparation area adjacent to the entry lobby. Saturday and Sunday brunch is a popular feature.
