Liberty High School, located downtown,  is attached to the district office. Liberty High School started as a continuation high school in this location in 1975-76. In the beginning, there were two full-time and two part-time teachers working with a student population of 30 students in grades 9-12. This number has steadily increased to the present status of five full-time and two part-time teachers and a half-time counselor with 90 students. Today, Liberty High School programs are supported by many community groups. The school is seen less as a continuation high school and more as an alternative to the regular high school.
