Smyers Glass

<p>In a town known  for its glass studios Smyers Glass has the distinction of being the <i>first </i>of the Benicia glass studios. </p> <p>Steve Smyers opened his first glass studio in Benicia in 1971 at the former Yuba Manufacturing building. In 1987 Smyers Glass moved across the street to their present location where it shares a building with another glass studio. </p> <p>Call ahead to find out which days the hot shop (glassblower lingo for the part of the studio where they actually blow glass) will be running so you can watch Steve and his crew making the beautiful stemware and and intricate glass sculpture that you can purchase in the showroom.</p>
