This 1852 landmark building houses two independent businesses with the same name: a romantic, period-decorated hotel and possibly the best restaurant in town. The hotel has 12 different themed rooms, an elevator, a website that takes reservations and daily housekeeping, but practically invisible on-site management. The restaurant benefits from attractive stained-glass windows and a menu highlighted by four steak plates, seafood and homemade pastas and bread.
