I absolutely hate the word "Allegedly". This word says there is no way a person wasRead More caught. In this case, this man was caught in the act, eith property that was not his. If the register owner did not willfully grant access to his vehicle, even if this person ends up knowing the owner, it's called stealing, theft, jail time needed. Please, stop using that word. Thanks, Paul C. SACRAMENTO

Paul, the word Alledgedly is a disclaimer, so to speak for news agencies. It is interjected forRead More legal purposes only. It has been in usage in America for as long as i have been alive and i am 49. It sole purpose is to shield news agencies and reporters from being helded liable if a story turns out to be false or a perp turns out to be falsely accused.

If any of this went down like this, this officer needs serious psycho therapy. He needs to beRead More labeled 5150 more than spend life in prison. Prison never works for people this far in to Neverland. Jeez! I wonder how long investigators let him do this after they were alerted. Good luck convincing a jury with pill addicted witnesses on the stand. Very scary situation for sure!

He was 59 and may have come on hard times, thogh I do not blame the land lord. You have to payRead More property taxes etc. But still, we need a safety net. Seriously. So no one fear being kicked to the street. Hard times or not. BTW, but for the grace of God go I, any of us. You can work hard for years,. Things can happen. To any of us. I cannot imagine, and this is very sad. It is stories like this that make me rethink my own life. And excesses I may have, also what I might take for granted, and not take them for granted. I would be all for a luxury and or sin tax for money for this safety net. If we want a vacation home or things we do not really need, pay a little more for it and have the money help these people. And maybe us someday. Life can throw you some curve balls..

christopher papazoglow February 13, 2014 at 05:48 pm
"....where have you been the last two days...." Uh, following the story, Ken. Yeah, iRead More heard all that, that you're talking about. What i HAVEN'T heard or seen is that "the report of kidnap came from them" that, supposedly, was "on the news today and all day". I asked a question of "reference" around 4 hours ago, and as yet haven't received an answer. From either April or anyone else who saw/read that "the report of kidnap came from them".
