Kris Jones, Neighbor

Kris Jones was born in Seattle, WA but has lived in Solano County for over half of her life. After high school graduation she went on to work for such companies as IKON, PC World Communications, and City of Fairfield, before she decided to go back to school to complete a journalism degree.

She attended Solano Community College in Fairfield where she wrote for its campus newspaper, "The Tempest." While on staff she served as both News editor and Editor-In-Chief for the paper. In addition, Kris has been awarded the Don Siegel Scholarship and Second place in an on-the-spot competition at Junior Association of Community Colleges' annual statewide convention.

In her spare time, Kris enjoys reading, spending time with family and friends and cooking.
