Rod Herman
I've been part of the local housing industry since 1982. I was the advertising & PR director for with Southampton Homes from 1982-1990, then was branch manager for First American Title's Benicia office until 1995, when I joined Coldwell Banker Solano Pacific at 900 First St. , where I've been ever since. My wife, Jamie is also a Realtor and works alongside me in our real estate practice.
From 1993-2005 I authored a weekly real estate column in the Benicia Herald.  Since 2009, I've written my own blog (HomeSection.com), which offers local real estate and community news, insights, and perspective.  I invite you to read and subscribe it.  I've gained a reputation throughout the real estate industry for my creativity, ingenuity, and eye-opening real estate marketing ideas along with my strong negotiating skills. Clients know Jamie & I for our professionalism, expertise, integrity and compassion. We always go out of our way to make each client feel as if they're our ONLY client...and have  always taken a golden-rule approach to our business. Finally, this goes back a few years, but I also was one of the first 500 Realtors nationwide to earn the National Association of Realtors' "E-Pro" designation (and the first in Solano County), which recognizes those select agents in the U.S. who have mastered the use of internet technology in their businesses.
