Benicia Homecoming Parade: Floating on First
The annual Benicia High School Homecoming Parade marched up First Street Wednesday night in preparation of the Friday night's football game. The floats will be on display at the game.
Homecoming week at Benicia High School is in high gear. This is a week when school spirit runs rampant. High schools and colleges across the country celebrate homecoming in October. The football game that is part of the celebration is often the best attended of the season. The homecoming dance is usually the first big social event of the school year. And then there's that parade.
