Along the Straits

Along the Straits -  A show by 12 established and emerging artists who paint with Benicia Plein Air Painters aka Da Group.

Longtime artists and plein air painters Jerrold Turner and Nikki Basch Davis have mentored and inspired these artists who often  paint together on Sundays.  The work in this show documents the landscape, culture, and activites along the Carquinez Straits where industry and beauty informs a unique  aesthetic to these artists. 

Da Group hosts a paint out open to all on Sunday, July 8, noon to 3 pm on the grounds of the library.
