Art of a Community Opening Reception

Arts Benicia is beginning its 25th year with one of its most important exhibitions, Art of a Community. Now in its 18th year, this annual exhibit features the work of over 100 of Arts Benicia's member artists. This celebration of the rich artist community in Benicia and the Bay Area is unique in presenting the work of artists on all levels; from artists showing for the first time, to mid-career studio artists and artists who have spent their lifetime honing their practice, all  have a place in the Art of a Community. Arts Benicia has spent 25 years working with this community to help it grow and gain momentum, and is proud to continue to present their work as well as the work of emerging artists in this exhibition.

On January 21, 2012 at 7:00 Arts Benicia will host the annual reception for the exhibition, The Heart of a Community. This event is free and open to the public, and we encourage any who would like to meet and support the exhibiting artists who are at the heart of Benicia's art community to attend.
