Sound Walk and Sound Art Workshop

How does one define music, sound, noise, and silence?  How can sound be used in a work of art?  Sound artist and acoustic ecologist Andrea Williams leads an introduction to the interdisciplinary field of sound art.  Williams will be leading an hour-long soundwalk that explores the surrounding area of Arts Benicia with a discussion on sound and ecology following the walk.
