Extreme Grooming... Camels, Ninja Turtles, and Bears, Oh My!

Extreme Grooming competitions are becoming all the rage.  Or outrageous.  Take your pick. I, for one, thought that the study of statistics or the diagramming of sentences was designed to torture those of us who have a social life by those of us who don't.

But, now it seems there's a new way to waste time and money on mindless things. And it involves your favorite canine. 

I'm talking about taking one's frustrated artistic talents out on a loving companion. After all, the dog isn't going to say, "Mom, this is just too weird ." Probably not.

Just think, if Hitler would have had a dog to groom and colorful paints, perhaps the entire horrific episode known as WWII may have been avoided. Who was the idiot that told Hitler he had no talent and couldn't paint? 

But, I  digress. I say let these folks, who obviously have the means to explore their creative side, have their way or else something much worse could be unleashed upon society besides camels, flowers, Ninja Turtles, peacocks, etc. I think you're getting the picture. Who knows, we may have just tapped into the your latent Vincent Van Gogh or Picasso. I have it on pretty good authority, too, that your local Benicia pet supply stores may start carrying these water based paints as well. Then again, your dog may not be as enthusiastic at the thought of you trying out your creative whims on him with a pair of clippers. But. if you get to dress up like little Bo Peep, who cares! Meow for now!
