BHS Panther Marching Band & Color Guard Complete Successful Fall Season

The BHS Panther Marching Band and Color Guard had its final marching competition of the fall last Saturday, November 16th, in Fairfield at the Tournament of Champions.  Benicia was awarded first place for Color Guard, Marching Band, and the Wind Ensemble.  The Jazz Band placed second, the Symphonic Band placed fourth, and Drum Major Thomas Watabasyashi placed third.

Although the fall marching season is complete, the BHS bands can be heard in concert at BHS in the Hayley Horn Auditorium at 7 pm on November 20th.  Admission is free.

Upcoming performances for the band include the Benicia Christmas Tree Lighting on December 6th and the Benicia Holiday Parade on December 14th.

The BHS Drum Line and Color Guard winter seasons will be beginning shortly and marching competitions will resume in the spring.
