Piccolo to Close, Owner to Start Mobile Boutique

The women's clothing store is holding a going-out-of-business sale through Sunday.

Piccolo, a women’s clothing shop in Benicia, is closing its doors after eight years.

Gearing up for the closing, the shop has been holding closing sales, which continue today through Sunday with 50 percent off everything, according to the store’s Facebook page.

In a letter to customers earlier this month, Piccolo owner Laurie Key said she has decided to move onto other ventures.

GoGo Glam will launch in April, Key announced, and will sell shoes, handbags and accessories.

She plans to make stops at events like food truck festivals and private home shopping parties and also at venues like wineries, salons, spas and business parks.
