Benicia Police Log: Police Find Missing Child But not the Loud Kids

4:34 a.m.: Officers investigating a burglar alarm activation at an East Industrial Way business found that everything appeared to be OK.

4:51 a.m.: A burglar alarm was activated at a residence on Larkin.  Officers didn’t find anything suspicious.

4:57 a.m.: Officers couldn’t find a reason for a burglar alarm activation at an East Second Street business.

5:37 a.m.: Officers found no truth to the report that the traffic light at Columbus and Rose was malfunctioning.

10:26 p.m.: Police received a complaint of loud kids at a Sunset housing complex.

10:40 p.m.: Officers helped a resident on Sunset find their child.

11:23 p.m.: A business alarm was activated on East Industrial Way.  Officers were unable to determine why the alarm was activated.

Editor’s Note:  Even though I inject a bit of humor into these police logs, please remember, the men and women whose job it is to protect us rarely find it funny when they are approaching a drunk person or a building where the alarm is going off.
