Police Log: Dog Takes on Goose, Dog Wins

Police give advice to one lady who had a court order violated on Christmas Day.

12:34 a.m. Police were called to a report of an open door on Myrtle Court. A security check was done and everything was fine.

8:53 a.m. An alarm accidentally went off on a business on East Second Street.

10:41 a.m. Police received call that an alarm had gone off on another business on East Second Street. It turned out to be a malfunction.

10:47 a.m. Police received a misdialed 911 call from a residence on Vista Grande Ave.

11:01 a.m. Dispatch received a call that a dog was fighting a goose on Park Road. Someone on scene was trying to break it up. The Chocolate Labrador according to the police activity report won and the goose swam away uninjured. 

11:25 a.m. A person on Linda Vista Street wanted to speak to an officer in regards to a possible court order violation. An officer found that there had been a violation and gave the person advice.

1:03 p.m. Dispatch received a call of someone reportedly being threatened by a person they knew on East Second Street.  It turned out to be a dispute over child custody and both parents were warned.

2:41 p.m. There was a report of a verbal argument in a moving vehicle on East Second Street. Police did an area check and didn’t find anything.
