Rock On, Arco AM/PM in Fairfield Cited For Selling Tobacco To Minors

Clerks at the two stores were issued citations for the sales, police said.

Fairfield police used minor decoys to find businesses that were selling tobacco to minors over the weekend.

On Saturday, police conducted an operation that involved sending minor decoys into 40 businesses to buy tobacco products. Of the 40, two businesses sold tobacco to the minors.

Police said those stores were the Rock On at 1630 N. Texas St. and the Arco AM/PM, located at 105 Lopes Road. Clerks at the two stores were issued citations for the sales, police said.

The compliance check was funded through a grant from the Solano County Board of Supervisors and the city's Alcohol, Tobacco and Other Drugs, or ATOD, Task Force.
