The group of suspects were possibly firing from another person standing about 100 feet from the boy and his sister. The boy tried to rush his sister inside, but in the process was struck by gunfire.

No suspects are in custody tonight and it was unclear how many shooters were there. Four shell casings were found at the scene, Schroeder said.
