Benicia Middle School Viking Band takes Concert Sweepstakes at Encinal Extravaganza of Bands
The last marching competition of the year nets new hardware for the middle school program.
In a continuation of their winning ways, the Benicia Middle School band program once again wowed the judges and spectators alike last Saturday, May 19, with their spot-on marching techniques and impressive playing.
The Encincal Extravaganza of Bands, held in Alameda was the last marching competition of the school year and gave the Vikings one more opportunity to show their skill and dedication to music and performance.
The Vikings took home a third place for drum line, firsts for color guard and marching and then swept the concert competition with 93.7 points.
