The l girls varsity basketball team beat Vallejo Tuesday night 56-48. The game was never as the final score indicates. The Lady Panthers led by as many as 20 points mideay through the third quarter. The win puts Benicia in a tie for first place in league play.
Vallejo was charged with three technical fouls over the course of the game.
In other action, the boys varsity basketball team won by forfeit.
