The trophies, crafted by Tiffany & Co., are on a three-month tour that includes stops in dozens of cities, mostly in Northern California.

The trophies will travel across the country and make a stop in New York City on Saturday, then return to the Bay Area for stops in Daly City and Redwood City on Jan. 25.

The free, non-competitive Junior Giants league serves more than 20,000 boys and girls in 80 communities in Northern and Central California and southern Oregon.

It is intended to help children develop confidence and leadership skills, and links them to adult mentors who emphasize the importance of literacy and healthy living, according to the team.

Today, the two trophies will be on display at the Dan Foley Cultural Center at 1419 N. Camino Alto in Dan Foley Park in Vallejo between 3:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m.

Fans should park in Lot A, the second right turn in the park.
