"Scene in Benicia" is the new group show for December at the Benicia Plein Air Gallery, 307 First Street and at Vino Paladini in the Inn and Spa at Benicia Bay, 145 East D Street in historic downtown Benicia. Local landscapes and winter scenes are featured in works by the 13 oil and watercolor artists who comprise the cooperative gallery. Back by popular demand is the Christmas tree trimmed in miniature paintings. Mr. and Mrs. Clause will again make a special appearance on the gallery front porch on Friday, December 2 for the tree lighting event. The public is invited to the "Scene in Benicia" reception at Vino Paladini, Wednesday, December 7 from 5 to 7 p.m.
Winter gallery hours: Thursday through Sunday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
