Last Chance to RSVP for Business Workshop

Tuesday's free Main Street Meet-Up, a workshop about online marketing, is almost at capacity.

More than 35 business owners have signed up to attend Tuesday's Benicia Patch Main Street Meet-Up, scheduled for 8:30-10:30 a.m. at the .

We have just five spots left for Tuesday's popular workshop for small businesses. If you'd like to attend, e-mail your RSVP to coordinator Julie Dowling at JulieDPatch@gmail.com. The first five to RSVP will be saved spots and others will be placed on a waiting list.

The informal, very Patchy — and free — gathering, the fifth to be held in the East Bay so far, helps teach business owners and nonprofit organizations how to increase their visibility using Patch and other social media.

Reviews of previous Main Street Meet-Ups, held in Walnut Creek, Lafayette, Livermore and Newark, have been stellar, with more than 120 participants giving us high survey marks and feedback that they found the event extremely valuable.

We’ll serve refreshments, give out door prizes and swag and set up small group learning stations where participants can ask questions and get live demonstrations on how to access Patch and how to interact with various forms of social media.
