Police Log: Four High School Students Suspended
There was also a car stolen and a hit and run.
The recent cold weather inspired a thief to forgo stealing money in favor of firewood. The alleged crime happened in front of a store in Solano Square. Later in the day four students at Benicia High were detained near for possible drug violations.
9:27 a.m.: Officers are investigating a theft of items from an office on First Street. This is not the first time the office has been robbed and officers provided tips to avoid future problems.
9:41 a.m.: Someone reported losing their iPhone on Park Road.

9:46 a.m.: A car was reported stolen on Cambridge.
9:59 a.m.: Somebody stole some firewood from in front of a Solano Square business.

12:37 p.m.: A hit and run incident was reported on Goodyear Road.
12:38 p.m.: The School Resource Officer handled an incident on Church Street involving four high school students and an unknown quantity of marijuana. Two 15-year-old boys were cited for alleged possession of marijuana and a total of four students were suspended.
