Police Log: Loose Dogs and Distressed Truck Keep Officers Busy

There were some suspicious circumstances that turned out to be very innocent once officers got a chance to investigate.

The stuck truck was a traffic hazard that officers needed to turn over to a tow company.  the two dogs that were picked up in the middle of the night got to spend the evening at the corp yard.

12:22 a.m.:  Officers picked up two dogs that were running around on Buena Tierra.

3:08 a.m.: An alarm at a business on East Industrial Way malfunctioned.

8:19 a.m.: Someone tried to steal a car on Park Road.

8:53 a.m.: That suspicious person on standing around on Raymond Drive was waiting for a ride.

10:55 a.m.: A truck got stuck on East Second Street.  A tow truck got he stuck truck unstuck.

12:04 p.m.: A resident on Cambridge thought they saw a plane with smoke coming out off it.  Officers were unable to find any planes in distress.

2:45 p.m.: A resident on Snapdragon reported that there was some suspicious activity on one of their accounts.  Police are investigating.

3:35 p.m.: Officers responded to reports of wood debris in the middle of East Second Street.  The wood was gone by the time they arrived.

7:30 p.m.: Police responded to a report of a bunch of kids hanging out in the parking lot of an apartment building on East N Street.  The kids agreed to go inside.

8:30 p.m.: There was a report of a loose aggressive acting black lab on First Street.  The dog was gone when officers arrived.

Editor’s Note:  Even though I inject a bit of humor into these police logs, please remember, the men and women whose job it is to protect us rarely find it funny when they are approaching a drunk person or a building where the alarm is going off.
