Police Release Photo of Suspect in CVS Robbery, Ask Public to Help ID Man

Surveillance cameras caught an image of the man entering the store.

The has released a picture of a man suspected of robbing the CVS Pharmacy.

The image is of a slender man about six feet tall who appears to be in his early to mid 20’s.

“We are asking the public for their help in identifying the suspect n this case,” said Benicia Police Lt. Mike Daley.  “Our investigators are releasing this photographic information to develop further leads to apprehend this person.”

The suspect had given a note to the pharmacist on duty demanding a variety of prescription medication.  After receiving the drugs the suspect fled through a rear service door and was last seen running toward the freeway.

The police are following up on other leads in the case.

Anyone who might know the identity of the man in the photo is asked to call Benicia police Detective Sergeant Scott Prekurat at (707) 746-4244 or Solano County Crime Stoppers at (707) 644-7867.  Tips to Crime Stoppers could mean cash rewards for the tipster.
