Candidates Are Meeting the Voters

It is a rite of every election.

Every two years Benicia holds . This year, Benicians will elect a mayor, two City Council members, a treasurer and the city clerk. One of the rites of campaigning in a small town is precinct walking.

The candidates get lists of registered voters and their addresses. They then go to the homes on the list to introduce themselves.

On Sunday, Benicia Patch caught sight of mayoral candidate Vice Mayor as he visited the homes of voters.  added a modern look to the precinct walk by using his Segway to get from home to home.
