New Sunday Bus Route for Benicia
SolTrans' decision to cut Sunday service for Route 80 means new service for Benicia residents.
, the recently formed transit service serving southern Solano County voted to cut Sunday service on the heavily used Route 80 that travels from Vallejo’s Downtown Transit Center to the El Cerrito Del Norte BART station. The vote came at the agency’s regular meeting held Thursday, May 24 at the Benicia City Hall.
The examiner.com reports that the agency added limited service to Route 78 that travels from Vallejo through Benicia and on to Walnut Creek BART. Route 78 will also serve Diablo Valley College because the agency also eliminated the old Route 76.
