SolTrans Schedule Cuts Protested
Diablo Valley College shuttle is on the chopping block.
While the newly formed SolTrans bus system struggles to balance its budget, riders are protesting cuts that would cancel Sunday service to BART. Closer to home for Benicia residents will be the proposed cancellation of Route 76, the Diablo Valley College shuttle.
The Vallejo Times-Herald reports that 10 people showed up at the first of six public meetings to present and discuss the proposed to schedule changes. Two of the meetings will in in Benicia. The first will be held in the in the City Council Chambers, Wednesday, March 14, 6- 8 p.m. and the second at the , Tuesday, March 20, 4:30 – 6:30 p.m.
